Longflower Alumroot is a native evergreen herbaceous perennial with lobed deep green basal leaves that often has silvery highlights and can develop red tones in cool weather.  Long flowering stems sporting tiny pale yellow bell-like flowers bloom from late spring into summer attracting butterflies.  Best bloom in partial sun and moist well-drained soils.
